System of Forces
Whenever at least two than two powers follow up on a body, they are said to shape an arrangement of powers. Following are the different arrangement of powers:
Coplanar powers. The powers, whose lines of activity lie on a similar plane are known as coplanar powers.
Simultaneous powers. The powers, which meet at a certain point, are known as simultaneous powers.
Coplanar simultaneous powers. The powers, which meet at one point and their lines of activity likewise lie on a similar plane, are called coplanar simultaneous powers.
Coplanar non-simultaneous powers. The powers, which don't meet at one point yet their lines activity lie on a similar plane, are known as coplanar non-simultaneous powers.
Non-coplanar simultaneous powers. The powers, which meet at one point however their lines of activity don't lie on a similar plane are known as non-coplanar simultaneous powers.
Non-coplanar non-simultaneous powers. The powers, which don't meet at one point and their lines of activities don't lie on a similar plane are called non-coplanar non-simultaneous powers.
