                                   Moment of a Force



Snapshot (MOMENT) of a Force is the turning impact created by power, on the body, on which it acts. The snapshot of power is equivalent to the result of the power and the opposite separation of the point, about which the minute is required and the line of activity of the power. Scientifically, the snapshot of a power P about point O as appeared in Fig 1.3,

The unit of minute relies on the units of power and opposite separation. On the off chance that the power is in newtons and the opposite separation in meters, at that point the unit of a minute will be Newton-meter (quickly composed as N-m).
